Today I learnt the elusive, incomprehensible chorus lyrics of R.E.M.'s The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite. For years I had been mildly puzzled/annoyed as to what Michael Stipe actually sings, but today I discovered the lyrics are: "Call me when you try to wake her up; call me when you try to wake her". Previously I had always sung "Only in Jamaica" or something like that.
